USPR Increases Float/Sink Capacity by 50%

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lawrenceville, Georgia – June 21, 2023 – US Plastics Recovery (“USPR”), a leading processor of industrial polymer scrap, announced today that it will increase its float/sink capacity by 12MM lbs. per year. “We are pleased to announce another large increase in float-wash capacity at our facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia,” stated Steve Hogan, Chief Trading Officer. “This additional line cleans up contaminated floor sweeps and mixed polymer streams, turning them into molding materials that can be used in applications with stringent quality requirements. The new line removes a large bottleneck that was formed last year when we increased upstream facility size-reduction capacity by 70%. The facility is now unleashed to run 40% more tonnage. The engineering and maintenance team brought this to fruition through tireless work and creative ingenuity. This additional capacity will enable USPR to help many new and existing clients add to their successes.”

Why USPR?

Most recyclers will take your material when it's convenient for them. We don't compete on price. We compete on quality, consistency, and reliability — at a level that makes price a secondary consideration for the manufacturers who depend on us. Our finished regrind is clean enough to replace virgin … [more] about Why USPR?
