USPR moves to larger facility

USPR has implemented SCADA/MES/IMS.

US Plastics Recovery has completed its move into its third progressively larger facility, located in the City of Lawrenceville, Georgia.  The facility, located in Lawrenceville’s heavy industrial district, will have three times the capacity of the previous facility in place by the end of 2018.

In a statement on the completion of the move, President Daniel Nolan said:

“I am pleased to announce that we have successfully completed a move into a much larger facility. This latest facility is fully operational. It has more space, more electricity, more machinery, and more logistical capacity.  The facility will increase its capacity in steps throughout 2018 until it is triple that of the prior facility. Total invested capital in this expansion exceeds $1 million. It was well worth the cost, considering that this facility soon will be diverting over 50 million pounds per year of industrial polymer scrap from the nation’s landfills into high-quality consumer products.”

Why USPR?

Most recyclers will take your material when it's convenient for them. We built USPR around a different promise: we take your stream consistently, month after month, regardless of market conditions — because we control our own capacity and answer to no parent company. We don't compete on price. We compete on quality, consistency, and reliability — at a level that makes price a secondary consideration for the manufacturers who depend on us. Our finished regrind is clean enough to replace virgin … [more] about Why USPR?
